How to Get Book Reviews for Your Book
On Revvue, your book’s discoverability and the way you participate in the reader community can affect whether members choose it. Use these practical steps to improve its chances of being found and to request honest feedback. Reviews and ratings are never guaranteed.
Improve your book’s chances of being reviewed on Revvue
1. Make the book accessible to more readers
Consider an affordable price, or request an eligible format readers can access without an additional purchase, such as Kindle Unlimited (KU), PDF, EPUB, or audio where available. Revvue is a reader library, so the format and cost can affect whether someone chooses your book. No price guarantees that a reader will select or review it.
2. Make more of your eligible books available
If you have multiple books that are ready for readers, consider making each eligible title available for review. More listed books give reviewers more opportunities to find a title that interests them. Keep requests within your plan’s current limits.
3. Select all relevant genres
Revvue lets you choose up to three genres when editing a book. Fill all three slots when they genuinely fit; accurate categories can help the right readers discover it. Don’t select unrelated genres just to appear in more places.
4. Request all three review types
Request Verified, Kindle Unlimited (KU), and PDF/EPUB/AUDIO reviews. Your book can then appear in the Verified, KU, and Free categories, giving it more opportunities to be found and picked.
5. Earn coins
Earn coins by reviewing books, completing achievements, referring qualifying authors, or with Bookworm Pro. Use coins to request feedback on your books.
6. Keep your activity focused
Revvue’s in-app tips recommend concentrating your reviewing activity in the community where you are also seeking feedback. Review only books you genuinely want to read, and use the coin and plan rules shown in your account to decide how much to participate.
7. Consider the “Guaranteed Verified” request option carefully
Revvue’s tips explain that reviewers may avoid assignments marked “Guaranteed Verified” because coins are returned to the author if the review is not marked verified. Consider whether that option fits your book and expectations; it does not guarantee a reader will accept the assignment or that a retailer will publish a review.
8. Ask support to review a book’s coin price
If a book is receiving less interest after you have improved its availability and details, contact Revvue support and ask whether its coin price should be reevaluated. Support can review the request; a price change or additional reviews is not guaranteed.
The goal is honest feedback
Revvue facilitates reader feedback; it does not sell positive reviews. Reviewers should share their genuine opinions respectfully, avoid personal attacks, and flag spoilers. Authors should not ask for a particular rating. Reader participation and retailer publication remain outside Revvue’s control.
Put these tips into practice
Open Maximize Reviews in your Revvue dashboard for the in-app recommendations, then review the plan details before making requests.
